You may have observed this parameter in the tuner output from a compute server or with distributed tuning.
GURO_PAR_NOLOCALDISK
is a hidden parameter that contains information about whether you have permission to write to the local disk. In particular, the setting GURO_PAR_NOLOCALDISK=1
in the output means that you cannot write data to the node disk. Thus any parameters that write to the disk, such as NodeFileStart, are set to their default values.
This parameter is not relevant for solving the model; it is a restriction enforced by the compute server configuration. It is shown in the tuner output to report this restriction.
The compute server administrator controls this setting to control disk usage via the configuration property NO_LOCAL_DISK
in the configuration file.
