Out of Memory: Licence limit or computer limit?
Awaiting user inputHi everyone!, I want to know if an academic licence restrict the possible memory usage or it only depends on my computer's avaliable RAM. I'm asking this because I tried both solving with an 8Gb computer an 16Gb computer a problem which according to gurobi had 2 Gb of estimated required RAM and in both cases I had the same issue while optimizing: Out of Memory.

Hi Andres,
The Gurobi academic license does not have any restriction. It is the same full-featured version offered to commercial users. The amount of memory that you can access depends on the hardware you are using.
Have you already checked the article on "How do I avoid an out-of-memory condition?" in the Gurobi support portal?
Best regards,
Maliheh

Hi Andres,
Could you also share which Gurobi API you are using?
Thanks,
Jennifer
