Does NoRel heuristic enable smart branch and bound?

May I know whether running NoRel heuristic has an side advantage of improved branching strategy or faster sub-optimal/ infeasible node pruning even in the case NoRel heuristic itself does not yield a solution? I'd assume that since NoRel heuristic does some sub-MIP evaluations on nodes, these information may somehow be useful for learning a better branching strategy later.

If the NoRel heuristic does not produce a solution then the computational effort is unfortunately a waste. There are no side advantages as you suggest.
