Gurobi can't read my username

I have an academic license, but when i want to run a model, i get the following error:

gurobipy.GurobiError: User name mismatch (licensed to 'rubenklaas', current user is ' ').

When running whoami, the response is:

rubenklaas

How can this be solved?

  In some instances, the package "krb5" was missing in the user's conda environment, and installing it resolved the issue and the username could be correctly queried.
