Gurobi error 10009: User name mismatch (licensed to 'root', current user is 'XXX')

Hello All,

I was using gurobi951 on Ubuntu 20.04.3, and it was working just fine until  I noticed that my academic license is expired. Thus, I renewed my academic license. I ran Gurobi on MATLAB, and I got this error:

Gurobi error 10009: User name mismatch (licensed to 'root', current user is 'XXX')

I deleted Gurobi altogether and reinstalled everything, and yet I have the same error. I did not have this issue before.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
