Is Gurobi Instant Cloud License compatible with Kubernetes based architecture?

Hi Team

We have a Gurobi Instant Cloud installed in a few of our environments, we would like to install it for a Kubernetes based architecture too. Is this possible? I saw a few community posts which said the only the license compatible with Kubernetes architecture is the WLS license. If so, could you tell us what is the technical limitation for this?

  Hello Narasimha,

  Yes, it is possible to use Gurobi Instant Cloud in a Kubernetes-based architecture. One difference here is that with a WLS license, the Gurobi optimization jobs would run on your containers; when using Gurobi Instant Cloud, your optimization jobs will run on our cloud servers. Please note that your containers will need to be configured so that they can access our Instant Cloud servers through the Internet (see Gurobi Instant Cloud - Security and Network Settings).
