Objective value higher in fixed model
回答済みHello,
I modeled a maximization problem I am trying to solve as an integer program. Afterwards I'm using model.fixed() to create a fixed model of the same problem and solve it again. When analyzing the output I realized that the objective value for the fixed model is higher than for the original model. Can anyone explain to me how this is possible, because in theory the two models should yield the same result.
Thanks!

Hi Max,
Did you solve the model to a 0% MIPGap?
Could you share a minimal working example (see Posting to the Community Forum)?
Best regards,

Hi Jaromil,
thank you very much setting the MIPGap to 0% solves my problem!
Best,
Max
