Replace the academic license on a new machine

Hi,

I have installed a free academic license on my old machine. Now I have a new machine. What if I want to use Gurobi on the new machine instead of the old one? How can I deactivate the previous license and install a new one for the new machine?

  Hi Yuankai,

  We usually do not transfer academic licenses from one machine to another. Just create a new license for the new machine (in Gurobi's User Portal). Alternatively, you could create a WLS license (also in the portal) that can be used on multiple machines (but requires a permanent internet connection).
