Wrong version installed
AnsweredI obtained an academic license for Gurobi version 8. However, when I run the grbgetkey command on my system (Ubuntu 16.04), a gurobi.lic file is correctly downloaded, but the version is 7, which is wrong. How can I fix this? I requested yet another license, but the issue remains.

I assume you have multiple versions of Gurobi (and hence grbgetkey) installed. Either remove the old version or make sure the latest one comes first in your PATH. The command "which grbgetkey" should return the path to the grbgetkey inside your Gurobi v8 installation.

Thank you very much, that solved my issue indeed. The old version of grbgetkey was being used.
