Problem with Tokenserver
AnsweredHi,
I am currently writing my master thesis and implemented an algorithm that uses Gurobi as a subroutine.
My professor allowed me to work on one of the university's computers and for performance reasons (I have multiple independent LPs) I am running multiple instances of the program on different cores.
My problem is that I inconsistently get the Error message:
ERROR: Failed to connect to token server 'myserver' (port 41954) - license file '/opt/cs/share/gurobi-client.lic'
I already looked into the QuickStartGuide but there was no solution for my problem. In the license file I found the info:
TYPE=TOKEN
TOKENSERVER=myserver
HOSTNAME=myserver
SOCKETS=2
CORES=8
USELIMIT=4096
DISTRIBUTED=100
SPECIAL=2
Thanks in advance for any advice how to solve the problem.
Best,
Tobias

Hi Canqi,
What happens if you run "ping myserver" (assuming TOKENSERVER=myserver in your client license) from a command line?
