"Restarting kernel..." for large-scale linear programming problem
AnsweredHi,
I am solving a large scale linear programming problem using gurobi 9.5.1 in spyder, I have no problem solving a slightly smaller instance but I kept running to the issues below:

Is there anything I can do to avoid this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

This is a Spyder related issue and is most likely caused by running out of memory. Please refer to How do I avoid an out-of-memory condition? to try to reduce memory usage by Gurobi. Given the problem size, I would recommend switching to a bigger machine.

Thank you for your reply. I noticed that Gurobi has cloud services and wonder if there's an academic license for it as well?

Hi Jingyuan,
There are three academic cloud options. You can read about them in What are the options for using an academic license on the cloud?0
