How to use Gurobi academic license on a university's supercomputer(cluster)?

Hi ,

I am Margi, a PhD student in the School of Engineering at Cardiff University, UK. I want to run a program on a university's supercomputer (cluster).It means, university has a range of clusters that have different machines, and programs can take up any machine depending on the availability of that machine. 

However, I have an academic license for Gurobi, which expires in 2025 with ID 2476336 (version 11, installed on WR387A0E032F00) 

Can I run the program on a supercomputer? If yes, how can I do it?

  Hi Margi,

  Perhaps a WLS license will be useful in your case.  Your current license is machine specific so won't work.

  Note that, as per the article, the cluster will need to be able to communicate with our token servers.  This can lead to networking difficulties if proxies and firewalls are involved, in which case you will need to ask your IT department for assistance.
