How to use gurobi.lic with "conda install gurobipy"
AnsweredI can see instructions on using grbgetkey for a conda installation of gurobipy, but cannot find documentation on using a license server. Is it as simple as copying the file to the user home directory? thanks.

Hi Justin,
By "license server" do you mean a Gurobi Token Server? If so please see https://support.gurobi.com/hc/en-us/articles/13263666877457-How-do-I-start-a-token-server
Or perhaps you referring to Gurobi licence servers, i.e. WLS? If so please see https://support.gurobi.com/hc/en-us/articles/13232844297489-How-do-I-set-up-a-Web-License-Service-WLS-license
Getting familiar with the Getting Started guide is a good idea: https://support.gurobi.com/hc/en-us/articles/14799677517585-Getting-Started-with-Gurobi-Optimizer

Thanks for the quick response, Riley - we have a token server. How do I connect my conda installation to it?
Or - how can I test my conda gurobi installation for a valid license? I may be able to figure it out from there

solution - copy the file to /opt/gurobi/gurobi.lic
check license via "gurobi_cl"

Hi Justin,
Looks like you may have solved it while I was asleep. Is the setup all good now?
