Good morning,
What is the best license option for an institution's server? I would need to install Gurobi Optimizer on a server that will be accessed by multiple users within my academic department. Which license option would be most suitable for our multi-user server setup?

Hi Sofia,
It sounds like you are looking for an Educational Institution Site License. Quoting the article:
Gurobi also offers a multi-user Educational Institution Site license that provides a central license token server; this eliminates the need to request and set up a license file for each user on each computer.
This type of license must be managed by a system administrator. To request this license, please ask the system administrator to submit a support request in our Help Center.

Thank you very much for the quick response.Am I correct in understanding that the other license options, such as the Named-User Academic or the WLS Academic would not be suitable for my case? Or is it possible for the server to act as a single user?

Sorry, I realize now that you said one server with multiple users. I thought you meant a cluster with multiple machines, in which case Educational Institution Site licenses are the most suitable option.
In your case with one server, yes, a Named-User Academic or a WLS Academic license is also suitable. Each user would have to create their own license for the server. Please see the article How do I obtain a free academic license? for more details on these types of licenses.
