Gurobi ImportError: No module named site

I have installed Gurobi Optimizer version 9.0.2 and CMPL version: 1.12.0 on Linux. I am using Gurobi to solve a CMPL model. It works fine with the default solver (CBC), but Gurobi gives me the following error

Python version: 2.7.17

What is the reason for this error? And how do I fix this?

  Hi Manvi - 

  Did you install Gurobi using "conda install gurobi"? Or did you install the full install as described in https://www.gurobi.com/documentation/9.0/quickstart_linux/software_installation_guid.html?

  Also, can you check what the values for the system variables PYTHONHOME and PYTHONPATH are?

  Thanks for your reply.

  I have installed Gurobi as described in the installation guide. 

  PYTHONPATH and PYTHONHOME are unset.

  Can you please check whether you can run gurobi_cl without errors or warnings?
