Host ID mismatch

Hello

I am trying to run my program on a large clustered computer (supercomputer). The problem I am facing is when I install my license in my login node, the Host id is different and when my actual job runs in a worker node, the host id is different. This results in Gurobi exit  with return code(1): 

gurobipy.GurobiError: HostID mismatch (licensed to 624b8d40, hostid is

    624ba4a4).

 

My system is a linux machine.

 

What is a possible solution to this problem? I am using a free academic single-user license.

  For users with a similar issue, please either:

  • Generate a WLS license in your User Portal
  • Ask your system administrator to apply for an Educational Institution Site License as described in How do I obtain a free academic license for a cluster or a shared computer lab?

  We will handle this in an internal ticket. A different license type needs to be used for such cases.
