Academic license HostID mismatch
AnsweredHi,
I am using a free academic single-user license and am trying to run my program in a HPC environment. When I install my license the host id is for the login node, however jobs run on different hardware that has a different host id. Gurobi exits with the following error.
gurobipy.GurobiError: HostID mismatch
Is there a way to register a license automatically, when the jobs run within the compute nodes? Or another solution to running Gurobi in a HPC environment?
Thanks.

A named-user academic license is tied to a physical machine and can be used only on the machine it was installed on. Please refer to How do I resolve an "ERROR 10009: HostID mismatch"?
If you are planning to use Gurobi on another machine, you can request another named-user academic license. Please refer to How do I transfer my free Individual Named-User Academic or free Online Course license?
If you are planning to use Gurobi on any node in a HPC environment, please refer to How do I obtain a free academic license for a cluster or a shared computer lab? -
This is a licensing issue and will be discussed in an internal ticket.
