Remote academic licensing

First I would like to say that I'm new to Gurobi and I need help from friends with a big problem. I have a new desktop (with Windows operating system) and I need to put the academic license on it. Does anyone know any way to validate the license remotely? I have SSH access to a linux machine on the university's network. Thanks for the help in advance.

  Hi Luis,

  all you need to know is here. To activate your license, you need to be connected to a university's network - either be physically on campus or via VPN.

  Hi jonasz,

  I had already seen the page you mentioned, but I was looking for a more practical explanation on how to use an ssh connection as a VPN to regularize Gurobi's academic license. I even tried with the instructions found in an older post (here), but it didn't work in my case.

  On Windows everything is more complicated (and my knowledge of networks is not the best) and, unlike a laptop, the desktop is difficult to take to university (even as it is the family computer and everyone at home uses it) .
