While requesting a WLS Academic license via the User Portal, you may receive an error similar to:
[LICENSES_ACADEMIC_EXISTS] Cannot create academic license as other academic licenses already exists.
This error will occur if you already have an Academic WLS license and are requesting a second WLS license. Instead of requesting an additional WLS license, you should extend your WLS license through your account in the portal.
Please note that the default settings in the license list in the User Portal only display unexpired licenses. Change the "Expiration Status" filter to "All" to locate the expired WLS license.
The presence of a "Free Trial Academic" or "Temporary Academic" Named-User license does not produce this error.
