Upgrading to a new major version, such as from version 12 to 13, may require a new license file. This process differs from renewing an expired license.
- For Academic WLS licenses, there is no need to make any update.
- For "Free Academic Trial" Academic licenses, please request a new license as described in How do I obtain a free academic license?
- For unexpired "Temporary Academic" Named-User licenses, these have been updated in the User Portal to the latest version. Please log into your Gurobi account and download your license again. See How do I retrieve and set up a Gurobi license? for detailed instructions.
- For Educational Institution Site licenses, please ask your system administrator to update the Gurobi token server license by downloading the license again. See How do I retrieve and set up a Gurobi license? for detailed instructions.
