What URLs are needed to run the Web Licensing Service (WLS)?

To run the Web Licensing Service (WLS), two specific URLs must be accessible:

• https://token.gurobi.com: This URL is used to retrieve the token.
• https://license.gurobi.com: This URL is used for the WLS License Manager (the UI webpage) and the WLS API. This is needed to generate the API keys for the license, but is not need to run Gurobi.

If your system cannot reach the Gurobi servers, you may receive errors such as: 

GurobiError: Failed to connect to token.gurobi.com port 443

GurobiError: Could not resolve host: token.gurobi.com

Please verify with your IT team that these URLs are whitelisted on your network firewall. Granting access to these addresses should resolve any restrictions imposed by the firewall.

These services are hosted on AWS machines, and their IP addresses may change at any time to ensure high availability. Therefore, it is recommended to whitelist the URLs instead of the IP addresses where needed.
