We are definitely looking at the new hardware. As these chips have just been released we also just got the hardware. So far, we don't have a native version of Gurobi for the M1 CPUs.

How long will it take to release the M1 version?

Hi,
A macos_universal2 port is now available with the technical release Gurobi 9.1.2. The port provides binaries that can run on the new M1 chip. The port is still experimental, but we encourage users to try it and report any issues. You can download it from Gurobi's Downloads page.
Best regards,
Elisabeth

Hi, it is great to have a native Gurobi version for M1 Macs now available, thank you!
Is there a chance that there will be a Linux Arm version of Gurobi? I would like to use Gurobi in a Docker container running on an M1 host system - so the Docker container runs a Linux Arm flavour.

Please could someone update regarding Marcel’s question above? As of today, it still does not appear to be possible. Are there plans to support this soon?

Hi Thomas,
Linux ARM support is tracked as a feature request. We cannot say when this might be available.

Linux Arm version would really help. A lot of our developers use the scenario described by Marcel above: M1 Macs & Linux Arm Containers, particular some use Visual Studio Code Dev Containers.
Is there a Roadmap or Feature Request that we can track/monitor?
