To use AMPL with Gurobi using free academic licenses, you will need both an AMPL license and a Gurobi license.
To request an academic AMPL license, please visit the following page on the AMPL website: AMPL in Academia. Note that Gurobi does not distribute AMPL licenses.
To obtain a free academic Gurobi license, please follow the instructions in How do I obtain a free academic license?
Note: Please ensure you have a full installation of Gurobi available, as opposed to a pip install. Go to the Download Center to get started.
